Strong(er) Aerial Yoga Edinburgh

Build strength, power, flexibility and fitness, take your next step as an aerial yogi, cultivate aerial strength and control with these improver-level strong classes.

These classes work towards building strength, power and control in the aerial hammock. For these strong classes I suggest that people have some experience of aerial yoga or vinyasa yoga or a good fitness level. To start at an easier level, check out my general aerial yoga or sound bath classes. You can also build your own workshop; book strong classes in combination with a general or deep stretch class on the same date and get a discount.

Where are the classes?

These classes are at the Crags Centre in Edinburgh, 10 Bowmont Place, EH8 9RY. This is a short walk from George Square. All the Newington buses will drop you off a quick walk away, and there is a small amount of parking at the centre as well.

What do I pay?

£10.50 for a 1-hour class; £16 for a 1.5-hour class. If you book more than one class on the same date, you get a 10% discount. Payment can either be made via PayPal or direct bank transfer. How do I book?

Use the booking form to book onto the class or classes you'd like to attend. I'll confirm your booking once it's paid for. If the class is fully booked, you can still book on and you'll be added to the waiting list.

Are these classes for all levels?

Yes! Classes are for all levels and the hammock height is set low so it is accessible and fun. If you're feeling nervous, a deep stretch and relax class does provide a gentle way to support you into these classes, but equally week one of a block of four can also be ideal.

We will work through general-level skills and strength-building to finish up working towards some more challenging poses and holds. (Suitable for anyone with experience of my general aerial yoga classes or those with a good level of fitness/vinyasa yoga experience.)

In all yoga classes, don't do anything that hurts. There is a difference between painful and challenging. Take responsibility for your body and your limitations. Although these classes are low hammock and close to the ground, you will be asked to sign a waiver before participating.
